THE EVERPRAISE REPORT

Dear Family in the Body of Christ,

Since the last Everpraise Report there have been many exciting changes that we need to tell you about!


* Major Changes

After being in the information technology industry for the passed twelve years as a programmer (most recently with the J. C. Penney company), Jay has moved into full-time ministry. As you might expect, this is a major lifestyle change for our family, but one in which we are moving forward in the full assurance of faith.

Since March 1, 2003, we have seen a steady increase in the number of doors the Lord is opening for worship opportunities. The Lord has given us such favor with multiple ministries in the Dallas Fort Worth area, and the calendar is beginning to fill up.

We are even seeing our sphere of ministry extending beyond the Metroplex as we have already had the privilege of worshiping with Cap Rock Church in Amarillo Texas, and in June we will be returning to our beloved friends at Cathedral of the Cross in Birmingham AL.

* New CD Announcement!

God has even given us favor in the recording studio. On April 6 we began recording the new CD which will be called "THRESHOLD", and which should be ready for your listening encouragement toward the end of May.

"THRESHOLD" includes ten new originals songs, as well as a new version of "WHEN THE LIONS ROAR", which was the first track on "UNFAMILIAR PATHS, but has been energized by the arranging prowess of Allen Forsythe.

Also, Jay has recently focused on a much more intensive study of acoustic guitar, "THRESHOLD" features three instrumental acoustic finger-style pieces included among the original songs.

Notice: If you are reading this note, we will be sending out an advance free sample of one of the new tracks in MP3 format.

This is an amazing season of transition for us! The Lord has blessed Jay with a hitherto unparalleled outpouring of inspiration in the writing of the lyrics and music for this CD. It almost feels as though "UNFAMILIAR PATHS" was the season of pregnancy for Everpraise, and that in all actuality, "THRESHOLD" marks the season of entrance into life; the "THRESHOLD" of realizing the fullness of the vision of worship ministry that God has called us to.


* Event Update

We will be worshiping at several congregations in the Metroplex during May and June, including Hillcrest Church in Dallas, New Hope Christian Church in Wylie, The Church At Wichita Creek in Flower Mound, Bethel Family Church in Fort Worth, and Calvary Temple in Irving.

* Prayer Requests

Please pray that we are faithful stewards with what the Lord has entrusted to us.

Pray that the Lord opens doors for us to minister, and pray that such ministry grows in purity of purpose; that purpose being to "make His praise glorious" and to challenge and encourage others to excel in like manner.

Pray for those singers and musicians that partner with Everpraise, that they may grow in their devotion and intensity of heart toward the Most High God.

Pray that more songs flow out of those intimate times of communion with the Father.

Pray for an increased understanding of selahs, the prophetic, and the new song.

Pray for an outpouring of God's power to change the hearts and lives of unbelievers and believers during times of worship and ministry.

Pray for the encouragement and edification of the churches where Everpraise ministers, and especially for the pastors of those churches.

Pray that the Lord opens to us financial provision.
